Get in touch with us
If you would like to book an appointment to discuss your lymphoedema, get in touch with our friendly team today
Before your appointment
In order to get the most from your consultation, we recommend you watch this short presentation on the lymphatic system and what goes wrong in lymphoedema. Your surgeon will also discuss this in more detail with you during the consultation.
In order for our surgeons to start to understand your problem and how it affects you personally, we ask all of our patients to fill in and return a pre-consultation questionnaire.
We also encourage you to download and read some of our information sheets (available below). These provide a lot of information about lymphoedema, what to expect at your appointment, which test we will perform, the different treatment options, our fees. If you have any questions or concerns, our team would be delighted to hear from you by phone or email.

At your appointment
At your appointment you will be seen by one of our experienced specialist surgeons Mr. Gore, Mr. Ramsden, or Professor Furniss. They will take a full medical history and examine you. They will also undertake ICG Lymphography. This will complete a full functional examination of your lymphatic system, and allow your surgeon to recommend the best treatments available for you. Your appointment might take up to two hours, and there will be plenty of time to ask questions and discuss your personalised treatment plan.
After your appointment
Often there is a lot of information to take in at your appointment. We will write to you detailing the important points regarding your diagnosis and treatment plan. In addition, we can schedule a call with you to further discuss any questions you might have regarding your condition or treatment. We have an extensive range of leaflets that are another useful source of information. If you would like to schedule a further appointment before deciding on which treatment to choose, we would be pleased to organise this for you.
