Directions by car
There is a large underground car park for patients at the Manor Hospital, which is free to use.
If driving to the hospital by car, from the M40 northbound leave at Junction 8, and from the M40 southbound leave at Junction 8A. Then take the A40 to Oxford until you reach the large roundabout. From here, follow the A420 London road towards Headington. Carry straight on throught the traffic lights (crossroads) in Headington. Around 200 yards after the petrol station, a small signpost for the hospital directs you to turn right on Sandfield Road, then take your first right onto Beech Road.
From the Woodstock Road, travel north for one mile, then turn right along Moreton Road following the ‘H’ and ‘A&E’ and ‘John Radcliffe’ signs, along Marston Ferry Road to Headley Way. Go past the entrance to the John Radcliffe hospital to the traffic lights at the top of Headley Way. Turn left on to the A420 London Road. A small signpost for the hospital directs you to turn left on Sandfield Road, then take your first right onto Beech Road.
Directions by coach
The Oxford Espress (X90) and the Oxford Tube operate frequently 24 hours a day to and from central London. They stop in Headington Centre and at Gipsy Lane, about 15 minutes’ walk from the Manor Hospital.
Directions by train
We are 3 miles from Oxford railway station, with its frequent trains from London (Paddington) and many other parts of the UK. Please allow 15 minutes by taxi from the station forecourt and 30 minutes by bus (number 280). See National Rail Enquiries for the latest train times and service updates. Directions by air
Oxford is well placed for airports in London and Birmingham. The following buses run from the main London Airports and stop in Headington Centre and Gipsy Lane: London Heathrow – Airline Express (X70) London Gatwick – Oxford Express (X80)
